Today I got my second oerlikon miniarc. This one a new model and has more ampage than the last one. Brilliant little machines.

Yes they are great little units.only thing I don't like on this new one is the ampage setting dial.my old one use to go up in tens. This one is a nightmare to setI've had the 4.0 version a few years, good bit of kit

I got today a nice set of draws,well snap on roll cab,second hand of course but well pleased with them/it, I should say I was happy, as using fork lift tractor to load them into my shipping container had a slight mishap...no the box is ok I just ran over the collecting bag/frame which goes on my mower ,Grrrrr, I had chucked it on a i ton bag to stop it blowing away as very windy, totally forgot and then decided to drive over empty bag....

I can understand what you mean. 80-110 means the middle setting is 95a, not exactly intuitive.
110-150 is stepped 123 and 136a - how the heck are you meant to work that out in your head?

You could use a sharpie to write on the intermediate settings

It's continuous. Trouble is it's very easy now to over amp what I might be working on. I know you have ampage range on rods but they could of left it how they used to be

Definitely. Those look like some old rigid stilsons and nice shifters as well. Very comfortable in the hand that old stuff

Absolute madness to think of skipping this gear, Ridgid and Faithful stillsons, Bahco shifters, Gedore combination spanners (some still bagged), GearWrench pass-thru ratchets and sockets, Mitutoyo 300mm vernier caliper, punch set, new barrel pump, socket set up to 50mm (some sockets missing!), tape, full body harness and lanyard, various Loctite, grease etc., etc.

I only managed a free load of sleeper offcuts. Two layers in the trailer, got another load about the same to pick up yet. When space becomes available!

There was much more, larger combination spanners, flogging spanners, impact sockets (3 1/2"), couple of Enerpack pumps, rolls of clear reinforced hose. It would have been nice to take it all and give away the things I can't use but sure some others could have.
