I asked my mate who is clearing out his workshop, retiring, if he had a puller I could borrow, he said he had just skipped a load, so I went skip diving, pulled out a couple of sets of coffin straps as well, essential travel, I also picked up a large die holder from a forum members front wall, another essential trip,

who would skip those pullers? lockdown must be getting to him!

the puller bottom right is the one I needed, I have a Chinese version but it is rubbish!

He has a ton of stress right now, shut his business, not in the best of health and now cannot let the unit until this is over,

Just give it two weeks and I bet you will struggle to find one, my workshop is a vacuum for pens and pencils. Haven't a clue where they all end up.

mine isnt so much a vacuum for sharpies, as it is a vacuum for the lids for sharpies.

the number of pens that have lasted a day because i cant find the cap.......

Without a doubt - I find it's best to visit the place about twice a week because you never know what you'll find there. A few years ago the ESB sold an electricity pylon to the scrap yard which was too small for their requirements, over the course of a few months I bought maybe a quarter of the pylon which was comprised of heavy duty galvanised angle iron for far less than I'd buy new, ungalvanised steel from a supplier.

In addition to the €20 for the rebar I also gave them the €100 they wanted for something else which I said I'd take about a year ago. The next time I'm there I'll take a few photos to post here. Stay tuned.

I have placed a lot of his gear for him, at no profit, Kim's Student, engine crane sort of, the donkey saw, drilling machine, etc. so I think he has had value from me!

I found a set almost identical to yours at the bootsale some years ago, Think I paid £2 for it, Only thing is that it's just imperial, No metric

Also got this 24" square from the bootsale for 50p

Great bargains

You can get metric rules for them on their own.
Not cheap but the correct rule.
MSC have them on offer often.

I am old, but hate metric and imperial on the same rule.
You will have the scale reading the way you want at best half of the time, with yours it will be wrong 100% of the time.

Really nice vernier as well, accurate and the batteries never run out.
