So having missed out on a liqui tilter several months ago I set about creating an alternative. So I bought a simple roller tilter...then I bought an extra large farm jack...and the kit to connect it to the hub.
It was a superb plan and I was very proud of myself....what could possibly go wrong....until this came up for sale
So I put in a cheeky offer.....and the guy accepted it straight away. I'm actually very happy as its what I wanted all along....just a bit sad that I'll have to sell off the jack and accessories to pay for it
when ever I have had castings made for major vintage motorcycle parts originals always turn up, just as I clamp the new castings to the mill......

They are great.
Try making chips with Maris Piper spuds - I cut mine without even peeling, toss them in a teaspoon of oil and ......bingo!! Fantastic chips.

Glad I'm not the only one....I had such a great plan too although it was a little sketchy I think so the tilter should be a lot safer (once I've checked it out fully of course).
It was listed as Liqui but I'm pretty sure that it isn't because they use square section for the jack bar but maybe they varied their design over the production cycle...will have to see when it arrives.

Based on my philosophy of 'buy when it's a bargain', these turned up in anticipation of my finishing the jigsaw that is the Quorn grinder/cutter [yes, it's taking a while 
] - a set of 15 grinding wheels, mostly smaller than the ones which came with the machine.
Some are of the green variety which afaik are relatively expensive, in comparison to the other colour ones.
£19.50 inc p & p for 15 from www.homeworkshop.org
A few have blue or yellow lines across them, anyone know what this signifies - different grades I suppose, but which is which etc?
