An Entwisle and Kenyon steelrack instantaneous woodworking vice and a Stanley bull nose shoulder, rebate plane , vice will be for sale soon , pics of identical vice shown , opens 12 ins 9 ins wide, weight about 40lbs, a flick of the wrist to lock , fit wooden jaws lined with leather and a length of wood is virtually immovable,

Bought myself a new toy! If my wife feels the same way about a new pair of shoes then I can only apologise for the years of disdain!
I addeda watch to my collection yesterday!! I had a set of knives made by the same company logo, really good quality, they made the original Swiss army knife as well.
It's a Valjoux auto 7750 mechanical chronograph

I've wanted one for a few years since I went to the Manx with a friend of a friend who raced one but never justified the cost for a little used toy. It's an 08 with just under 5000 miles, FSH and was £3750 so hard to say no! My budget was 4k but I've just sold some scaffolding making a £300 profit so might look at an arrow exhaust. Did you need to remap it too?

d/l Tuneboy, you’ll need an obd2 reader. Easy enough, just be careful.
I had Arrows on, swapped for a Werks USA. She’s a loud, fire breathing monster
A nice Dorvic 5 ton toe jack. Proper old school British engineering. Now I can get working on my forklift. A real bargain less than 20 quid. Beautiful action on it really precise.

If it is the same as mine watch it for dropping if you flick the lowering lever over too far (mine may be knackered though).

If it is anything like a high lift jack you need to make sure the handle is removed and the socket is upright before you move the lever. I will watch out for it though thanks!
Just lifted my forklift very easily. On blocks now. Just need to start doing tests now find out what's wrong with it

I want one, about time I buy a newer bike. How can a bike have so few miles after 12 years?!
Problem Triumps dont have factory immobilisers even now? and are easily stolen, not a bike you can leave out.
To be fair it's probably me that is using it wrong rather than the jack being faulty
I acquired it years ago and never gets used for much as I don't really trust it with it being so old and it only jacks up half way, I should pull it apart and have a look at what the problem is with it, it mainly gets used as a weight to keep the door open.

Today I aquired this motor and inverter ,had it running but need to learn how to set it up properly and fit a potentiometer if poss , 1hp ,motor and 750 w inverter , any help gratefully recieved , cost me , are you all sitting down ,10 whole english pounds
As said tips on set up , pot connection ,and residtance value all very much appreciated

Not much acquired as finally out of storage,
Ive owned this six years and due to events beyond my control i iost the planned workshop, life took over so plans were shelved and potential work lost.
Its been in an open barn but covered and i regularly reoil it with old sump slop, well it was loaded on a plant trailer which i hooked up this morning got it unloaded dissembled rolled in the workshop then put back together.
Under the oil the ways are still shiny with the original scraping marks visible i dont believe its seen much work at all with one previous owner
Now to rebuy all the tooling I've sold due to storage shortage.

As a side note, i did the calcs for the beam deflection tested it at 300kg then 800kg whilst measuring the deflection lifting those numbers it measured spot on
Going by that the head weighs in at 220kg and the main body and table was 800-900kg the table and gearbox feed is surprisingly heavy.
