Could his voice go any higher?Wasnt Craig David , in a recent Bond film, strapped to a bottomless chair and whipped around the gentlemanly hanging bits ?

Heavy and seems well made.
Its bigger than i thought! More like a light 9" grinder, than a 4.5".
First run.

Cleans off mill scale and light surface rust, but it won't clean weld slag or even paint off - and the wheel wears down quickly if you catch an edge.
I reckon that i'm going to need a new wheel by the time i've finished the trailer.
Much faster than a polydisc or wire wheel within those limits, and it could be a factor of the supplied wheel.
So this just arrived. View attachment 232815 View attachment 232816
Have you seen the other wheels they do for them??
They do different grade of prep and polish wheels like what's on it. They do big wire wheel ones and I think the do a drum sander type wheel with sand paper also.
Did it come with the extra wheels?
Or did you order them separately?
I've seen the sandpaper flapdisc wheels.
Haven't found a wire wheel, unfortunately.
I bought this because it was cheaper than the bits to make a 4" wide wire wheel for the angry grinder.
Not sure what the second one down to the left would be like.
I was looking to see if the Eastwood drums would fit - They look similar or if they could be adapted. I know they have a wire wheel

Best £14 I ever spent on a tool...I never even knew these existed. Compression "F" connector for sky box cable.
The old ones were the screw hobbies that fall off...I couldn't pull these off when I really tried...and I really tried!
Having faffed about for 2 days with signal problems caused by dodgy "F" connectors these are amazing I think....takes 10 seconds to install (comes with the sheath cutter too).
On the inside there is a metal tube that slides under the outer sheath....I guess this guarantees a good connection with the outer wrap.
Sorry it was £12.95 with 1 day delivery...bloomin excellent tool.
I had a slightly surreal experience over the weekend.
I was out in the garden cutting up some plywood with my aged Black & Decker circular saw and had been swearing a bit (okay, maybe a lot) at what a pig it is to adjust (and persuade to stay adjusted) such that it cuts square, and then what a pig it is to use for long straight cuts.
My other half then said to me, and I quote: "You've had that thing for years now and given how much better your new cordless drill is, maybe it's time you also bought yourself a new circular saw".
About 17 nanoseconds later, this was on order:

(along with two guide rails which are currently in the local DPD depot and will be with me tomorrow).
I've got lots more plywood to cut up over the weekend so it'll be interesting to see how long the batteries last (it takes two batteries and I only have two 5 Ah ones and a single-slot charger so there will be a fairly long pause in cutting if the batteries run out).
I've ordered a 180grit flapdisc for now.
The wire wheels and/or coarser grits are OOS.
Today this arrived, £19 off the 'Bay and destined for the cave after the last one developed a mind of its own....
Works perfectly.
Awesome bargain
