Today I aquired a discount of something in my ebay watch list.. was 68 when I added it, now £45!! Sods law I bought a slightly more expensive one two weeks ago!

Today I acquired backache, my own fault trying to use up 7 yr old sand and nearly as old cement powder in heavy duty fully sealed plastic bags .
I sold 12 cherry tomato plants , lent the lady two seed trays to take them home . She returned 20 min later with both trays and half a dozen fresh eggs from her chickens . In return I gave her FOC a well rooted Chou Au Benton ( perennial kale plant in a pot ) If she follows my instructions she will have a massive patch of kale for her & the family as well as greenery for her chickens for many years to come .
I also signed up to Quidco then went on eBay and purchased a boxed set of rechargeable hair clippers …. Until my lass said she'd got over £100 back on goods ordered via Quidco I'd never given it a thought .. In the last few weeks it appears I've already had £13 put into my Quidco account because of eBay sales . I missed out on the £780 I payed for my posh battery driven cylinder motor as it was withdrawn from Quidco's scheme .

^^^been there done that otherhalf wanted a new toaster looked around none cheap

ended up in a shop seen a 2 slot toaster for £17 reduced from £35 cheacked price its a good price not cheaper any where else so bought

6 days later went in to a shop a 4 slice toaster £15 on offer 3 year warrenty

Why the electrical connection, then?

Yes as angellonewolf spotted it gives you cig socket adaption but i am going to adapt it to USB charge points and plug it in under the van seat so i can remove it and have less wire in the cab.

After a few years of using a wooden home made drinks holder in the van i found this in a van just dumped because the owner found a better one.

Still to dig out of the pile is a Centec 2, a J&S arbor press, a nice vice stand with a No.3 on it, and No.2 fly press with tooling.

This little saw was buried in a corner and makes up for my lack of room for a lovely Q&S that I just couldn't bring myself to come away with.

This brand new 8" grinder is a rather poor substitute for a Union Jubilee 10" that I could have had, but just don't have space for. And yes, I do have the guards.

And finally, some weird granules that started leaking from the bottom of the Mig. I can only assume that somewhere along the line my friend put some silica gel inside to keep things dry.

That Clarke bench grinder is a nice bit of kit.
I have one.
The only thing that failed on it in 25 years was one side of the double pole On/Off switch. But Clarks sent me out one FOC.

I have a wire brush on one side and a Medium grit stone on the other.

The Draper parts washer, again good bit of kit.
I use Jizzer in mine. The pump can be striped and cleaned and the nozzle is rigid enough to stay in one place, yet be easy to move.

Finds like that are hard to find.

I just need to enlarge the workshop now. That's going to be a major exercise, once the weather improves and holds, and once I can get materials.

The washer is going to come in very useful, but sad that I'm getting this stuff from my friend's estate.

Modified base plate, means I can change the battery without stripping it down, saved a bit of weight and I can put a smaller lens on without the base plate sticking out

The busted wheel barrow I found in the allotment skip lives again...ok I did get very carried away with this one!

Same skip had 4 perfectly good table legs...were almost the right size for the cross bracing...once I made them oval they fit perfectly.

After all that effort I had to treat it to a new set of matching black handle covers to complete the transformation.

Unfortunately it seems that someone on the allotment has sticky fingers...my last barrow got stolen....so this one is going to be chained to the floor on a buried anchor!

But it was only £72 and just around the corner. Better still, when I picked it up this morning the chap gave me a service kit that he'd bought for it

The wrong one for this model, but just right for the smaller Bambi that I have. To buy the kit, £100

In effect I've got a compressor for nothing and a service kit for a knock down price. The guts from the compressor will be put into my other Bambi project to restore that to its original spec.

After my van centre console upgrade i put the old home made one on the trolley at the end of my drive thinking a local might make use of it it.. it was out there all day lol... but a mate spotted it and gave me a cold/hot box that sits on the centre seat..

Waiting for the last critical part. The main sequencer then I'm computer free for a while.

Unfortunately the top synth is going to have to go back. Bought sh and filter 1 won't trigger with midi in. Can patch it for a test but reduces my patching options
