I did a skip rescue of a roll of plastic clear pipe, the guy said it was no good as it had been made bad, i took a look and it gets thicker and thinner about every half metre giving it 6mm to about 10mm internal bore, perfect for connecting random sized pipes up i suspect it is some kind of medical tube.

I have a mini vacuum pump thing about the size of a cigarette packet strapped to my leg at the moment that is disposable and turns itself off after 7 days can't wait to pull it apart and see what's inside.

Yep, just a low vacuum to draw anything up into the dressing. Don't know how much vacuum it pulls yet. Last year I had a big mains powered one that was powerful and helped to pull the wound closed as well as removing excess fluid. Seams crazy that small ones are disposable I would have expected the innards to be UV sterilised and put into new cases, some of the waste in the NHS is unbelievable.

My Epson scanner [will cope with prints & transparencies up to 10" x 8" ] won't work with newer versions of Windoze because Epson steadfastly refuse to produce an appropriate driver to enable that - that's why I keep an old l/top with Win XP purely for scanning now. It's a bit of a faff, scanning and then copying the result(s) onto a USB flash drive but I can then transfer the files into either Win 7 [desktop] or Win 10 on my laptop.

There are workarounds to fix that, but I never had much success & gave up. Google is your friend if you want to try for yourself though.

I've spent many an hour arguing with epson scan and windows 10. My scanner also does large negatives and it also works with my brand new laptop. I found a version of epson scan that works with windows 10 and I've just kept it, I refuse to pay for vue scan because if you are a serious user it's actually rubbish and epson scan has better frame detect on 35mm and medium format

You’re probably right - peristaltic pumps use tubing Like that.

A few years ago I treated myself to a Bronica, full kit from a retired chap

Loved the camera and I paid for Vue scan and it honestly put me off medium format until I could get it working with epson scan. As you say, one size does not fit all

One of these days when I have nothing better to do (joke) I might have a play and try to get my Perfection 2450 working on my Win 10 laptop - it'll scan negs, prints and transparencies up to 10 X 8 if needed. I used to scan slides shot on my SQ-am and the results were outstanding.

All a memory now as I had to get rid of all my equipment due to a house move meaning no space, I traded the lot with Ffordes at Beauly (a decent crowd to deal with) for a decent Nikon outfit which doesn't see much use now, as I tend to snap things with my phone

35mm film is the equivalent of about 87 megapixels.
A full frame camera can reach over 800 megapixel. In fact the digital scanning is the limit not the film.
I wish I had never sold my medium format stuff.

Years ago I started selling off my SQ kit but made the mistake of running a couple of test films, I have still got most of it from 45mm through to 150mm not that any of it has been used since. Ho Hum.

It is my mum standing and from left to right seated my Gran on my dad's side, my Uncle Bill, my Gran on my Mum's side (Also Bill's Mum)and my Grandad on my Mum's side. Photo would have been taken by my Dad a year or so before Mum and Dad were married, I have never seen this image as it was just a negative in this packet there were seven prints but sixteen negatives all cut into individual frames.

Had a good clear out (hence the free welder post), stacked my plumbing gear as I'm not getting rid of it and sorted my mechanicing tools out

Few jobs built up on the L200 so can crack on now I've access to tools
