got rid of the money pit that was the land rover discovery and got myself something far more friendly......

That looks very similar to the military's Bedford RL series that was prevalent when I was in the mob. Learned to drive and took my test in one. Dad used to do his crust when I was out in his car practising as I constantly stalled - considerable difference in the length of the clutch pedal strokes was the cause. I've never forgotten the quick method for replacing the front tracta joint seals on the 4WD versions.

I've got about 12 of those drawers (or ones that look just like them) - I didn't get them for free sadly, although they were very cheap.

Mine came with loads of dividers for separating different things in the drawers; they slide on rails built into the bottom of the drawers. I've got more dividers than I'm likely to use, so if yours has the rails and you'd like some dividers, let me know & I'm happy to send you a few.

Bought ages ago but only delivered today, the worlds filthiest vmc. Not impressed that when the haulage company he insisted on me using got there this morning,on the day he arranged, he hadn’t even bothered to empty the coolant or even disconnect the machine. Nice to be told by somebody else,that the man is a total twunt, something I have thought for quite sometime now. At least I don’t have to deal with him anymore. Anyway, it’s tucked away safe and sound. Will take a couple of days to clean,before I can start recommissioning it.

Another Dell.
Beginning of May I got 2 older Dell's, my original and a spare. The original is still going strong, but the spare suddenly would only run on battery.

So I was able to swop it out for this one, but the hard drives are not interchangeable.
So I got a hard drive adapter and a 2Tbite external drive.



Using them both to transfer files onto the new machine.

No. There has been a repair to the casting on the stand. Tailstock end

That looks just like a shaped edge of the apron top plate casting. Looks like it has had a repair to the foot of the pedestal at the tailsock end - all part of its character. Another lovely machine tool. Don't think it will fit in that IBC though!

Yes there is a few repairs. It does look like there is a big crack but its not. There is a small bit of casting missing in that area but nothing that can't be fixed. Given its age its entitled to a bit.

They are very good vices.

What I want for mine is the anvil set.
They did a set of 6 for those vices.

I have only ever seen one in real life.
£3,500. As it was original, still in the box, unopened.
