The metal chassis at the bottom is a Schumacher Top Cat / Cougar , not sure about the one with the body shell on it.

Edit: looks like a later Cougar 2000!

Unsure how old the Schumacher is, they still make them but i think they are not as good as i remember.

I said to my mate why didn't he get them all. he owns the cladding company and there on big money. that's what happens on big contract jobs .I filled my van up with the gear left over on a large shop fit I worked on for the last 2 days. the lads couldn't be bothered to take back half rolls of cable and new lengths of 4x4 trunking and light fittings left over

It is all priced into the job and costs a lot less than potential penalties or having labour doing nothing whilst waiting for materials.

and if it is kept, it has to be catalogued, stored and taken out of stores for the next job it will fit. Cost of storage may be more than the cost of materials.

scored these today got them given all working and led. then my mate told me he got them off his step son who does contract cladding. apparently there was a full large skip load of them and was told he could have them when he finished with them he took 50 and left the rest bet the skip bloke rubbed his hands

a couple of days before they handed over they emptied the eight 30' contractors containers into four 30' roll on roll off skips I hate to think how many thousands went !

If they belong to a temps firm the main contractors will get charged for them!
We had a client today saying they owned about 100m of 25mm swa cable and to leave it there, they didn't own it and it definitely came back to us!

Used to be that way, nowadays they supply 'safety lighting' and contractors supply their own task lighting.

i had a few tamya cars allways wanted when younger Schumacher belt drive 4x drive i bought a quad copter the other day 2nd hand me and son had our moneys worth out of it in one night having a play with it they are only £40 new but its great the only problem with it its to light and you can only fly it when theres no wind

I used to have a helicopter like that, had about a 500mm rotor which broke every time I used it. Straight out the box on Christmas morning, fired it up indoors and smacked it straight into the radiator, clearly an outside toy. New blades ordered, in the garden, slightest breeze and smacked it into the fence. On a good day, in a field I could get about 20 minutes flight out of it before breaking something, eventually I ordered a second, faulty one to borrow parts from. I've actually still got it somewhere, I wonder if it still works.

Today I acquired a Yuasa car battery, replaced under warranty after just shy of 4 years old. New one is a size up in spec/capacity [and physical dimensions], so should be no more jump starting for the foreseeable....which will be nice.

it bounces quite well we crached it quite a few times apart from loosing a leg now and again after a 5 mins search it has 4 wings you attach that protects the blades you know when it going to crash so just press the drop butten to stop the blades spining connection to camera is easy as install an app for your phone and the only problem if you crash you have to remove the battery to reset it and then relink the camera app can be a bit but was cheap and bit of fun for pocket money

Mhhh, that's a good point. I have considered registering it since I got home [I didn't expect the replacement to be a larger capacity]. I've been thinking that a 'same type' replacement would be OK?

EDIT: Just done a bit of Googling [as you do ] and it seems that it's only 2004> onwards e60s that need a replacement battery registering - mine's a 2003 [among the very first] so should be fine?

One Christmas about 10 years ago we walked into a toy shop in Cardiff , some &%*$£ inside the shop flew a RC helicopter straight at my wife who screamed when she saw it heading to her. I pulled her to one side and gave it a decent anti aircraft killer shot with my right crutch ..... sending it up into the mezzanine floor of the shop ....... KIA .

The " gentleman " with the control & a name badge that indicated " Charles Williams , Manager " ...... then told me I would have to pay £ 230 for destroying the helicopter .

I told him , " No " in an industrial & forthright military manner . He & his side kick gave us a wide birth as we walked back out the shop without buying anything .

That depends upon the alternator and the voltage regulator in the vehicle . I lost count of the number of new batteries people have used to sort out faults with them .
What sort of DC voltage across the battery terminals is the alternator pushing when the engine is running at about 1,000 rpm ?
