If she'd put a velcro'd front panel in it you could set the welder up then let the cover down to act like a primary dust filter when welding & grinding .

I excitedly opened the box on my new rotary table only to find it damaged and unusable 
I have emailed customer services. Depending on the reply I will expand the details. Got to give them a chance. It cost £250 so I am a little perturbed to say the least!

Today, I acquired a working Soba rotary table 
I will now say that I purchased it from Axminster and as you may have read, it was broken and unusable. I contacted their customer support and they offered either a courier to pick it up and send a replacement or I could go to my local branch and pick up a replacement. No argument, no fuss. Result:
