Well done, been trying to find a eberspacher for a long time, exactly the same use as you ,so xmas has come early for you, nice one.Arther
Heres what was given to me today,yes given,guy said this any use to you as he didnt know what it was for etc etc,ooooooooooooo,yer i'll take it off your hands,was told it works,yet to find out as one needs to suss out a few things

my transits from 1999 to 2004 had eberspachers fitted and they were a great devicelooks like a preheater for the cooling system,heres eberspechers fitted to transit connects circa 2005 and vw transporters circa 2005

EEK fingers crossed thenTransferred one over to another vehicle once, even having installation instructions they're really tricky to set up properly, you have to be sure everything's done correctly so it starts and runs first go. Even rubber fuel line connectors have to be correct hardness so as not to reduce pressure and other picky stuff.
That's when I found out they have a safety thingy inside that prevents them working at all after a few false starts which can only be reset by returning to factory for checking.
I gave up!!
Found this by the bin, TIG stool? But the wife has her eye on it for the kitchen
