Transferred one over to another vehicle once, even having installation instructions they're really tricky to set up properly, you have to be sure everything's done correctly so it starts and runs first go. Even rubber fuel line connectors have to be correct hardness so as not to reduce pressure and other picky stuff.
That's when I found out they have a safety thingy inside that prevents them working at all after a few false starts which can only be reset by returning to factory for checking.
I gave up!!

Skip finds. There are two filing cabinets, metal bodies but plastic drawers. Originally intended for the workshop but as the other garage is getting cluttered with papers we thought it'd be better with the stuff inside so we can actually park the car in it again! Mum wanted them to look 'fun' so I've been repainting them, the other is still getting done. Also found these shelves, 50kg capacity per shelf, very happy and only needed new bolts.
Along with this I got four Swedish made rapid staplers, a tape dispenser, pen pot, pads of lovely heavyweight paper, staples, paperclips, that perspex tray in the photo... it's ridiculous, they just bin stuff because it's too difficult to sort it and recycle. This one is up there with my best ever skips - the filing cabinets alone sell for $220 here second hand.

I went into a house clearance shop in town today for a look round, there was a shelf full of old tools, including an impact screwdriver, price £12. I thought that's dearer than a new one. Checked on the bay, same model £5.97 inc post. Needless to say Today I have not acquired ......

drop some paint on it chip it on the bottem any thing to detract her from liking it wont make an differance in the work shop but will stop it from going in the kitchen

if you drop paint on it you can aways remove at a later date when shes fogot about it

While out and about shopping with my Wife today, I had a look for books in a charity shop and found something for when I reach old, or should I say, "older" age. Its beautifully machined, and built like a tank, I can see it being great for urban warfare; should the need arise.
