Yeah, I do that, take dead things and make them sellable, but only if the original item is broken, or unuseable / no point (like an old broken gieger counter or a couple of tilley lamps that had nasty holes and dents in them

Mate had this in the garage sitting around View attachment 281808so he gave it me to use, quite a big saw and about 25 years old but like a lot of my made is the USA Dewalt tools it works well still and feels quality.

I've got the same old model from last Century. Very nice and weighty.
Bought off a friend a couple of years ago. With a decent new blade included.

It replaced a horrid DIY example (Selco / Screw-Up) that got nicked, for about the same cost.
