Been using these a while now.Been toying with them for a while, but bit the bullet and bought some toughbuilt saw horse so I can get a solid base for making stuff on as the workbench in garage isn't big enough for me to throw stuff around easily.
Just need to source some 2x4 and some ply to make the worktop now

I had one of those lathes years ago (Might have been my first "Machine" actually) , mine was branded SIP but was otherwise identical. The tailstock is an absolute piece of crap, it takes forever to change the spindle speed and the tool rest is a pain to adjust. Somehow I got more for it on eBay than Axminster would sell you a brand new one.Today was a:
Acquire stuff.
Liberate stuff
Dump stuff day.
4 bags of green waste to the dump. Plus 5 bags of striped elec insulation(That was not even cold before they had it away. How we mocked as tey gave me the bird as we left.
We also liberated some more bits for a Up and coming MIS.
A big thanks to the kind member, from here.
Sorry about Green back.

I liberated a small fret saw and a old Wicks lathe.
Both need lots of TLC.
