Though I have a load on order already to replace
It lives. I didn't stuff it up.

I thought sgs made their stuff in the UK, I've got one of their side cabs with my bench drill on it and it's pretty decent. I'd say as good as my kra(?) range snap on cabus pro tools and sgs engineering are identical. It’s definitely no snap on, but the price tag reflects it. Will give me plenty of space to organise stuff and be able to get to everything without having to move a million things first!
They make gas struts in the UK but the rest is badged.I thought sgs made their stuff in the UK, I've got one of their side cabs with my bench drill on it and it's pretty decent. I'd say as good as my kra(?) range snap on cab
You just made me have a look, so tempting but I don’t really have the money or spaceTheres a few that were badged as all different things. They look really smart and not bad for the money. You could buy a peg board upright for them at one point.
I played with one in Homebase when the Ozzies owned it and it was really smooth drawers. I was impressed

At that price you could almost buy two and stack them, like the snap on ones. I like a hutch on the top so you have a lockable worktopThe peg board and option of overhead cupboards are still available
I haven't made any provision in my will regarding who gets my vice/vise collection.
Don't worry about the collection it's all taken care of we have been running a raffle .The Astra-Zenica one. ( Hope I spelled that right. ) The way I see it, a sore arm is a small price to pay to keep on breathing; besides, I haven't made any provision in my will regarding who gets my vice/vise collection.
Oo, err, chocolate chip cookies, Yum.You just made me have a look, so tempting but I don’t really have the money or space
then I found this in the homebase website: Kitchen Island anyone? View attachment 291959
How does the quality compare? Is the snap on really noticeably better?I have the homebase make, had it nearly 4 years in a workshop environment with no issues.
Iv just upgraded to a snap on 73" box and love it so now selling my old box but for the money they are fantastic.

That’s an acetylene kit really. You’d need different nozzles and a different regulator for propane.Well the work vans are all getting swapped and all loosing the oxy acetylene gear now, so I managed to pick up a full oxy acetylene kit that looked pretty unused, need to look into if I can run it on propane now for home use as I don't really want acetylene, I know I can't weld with propane but that's what the mig tig and stick are for.

Did yours come pre dented? I’ve had two 72” ones before I bought the 96” one. Yep, you guessed it, all damaged in transit. Sgs was a joke. They offered me £20 that I could get it repaired as they wouldn’t ….
I was worried about it arriving dented considering the amount sgs have on ebay through their outlet. Thankfully it was all good. Their pricing for damaged units does seem strange, they are regularly offering them for around £600 with sides dented or handles hanging off, which about ties up with their offer to you of £20 offer to repair it.Did yours come pre dented? That's identical design to the smaller Superline Pro top box i have, and it's superb for the money. I've had it years as a shop-soiled cheapie, sat it on top of a Beta roll cab since it's far superior to the fiddlin' small Beta top boxes.I have the homebase make, had it nearly 4 years in a workshop environment with no issues.
