This unit is from 1988 and is really beauty made from brass and steel.
No need for electronic.
Just engineering.
That is also one reason to buy this kind of useless stuff for myself.

Not today but last week I picked up this metal jigsaw
And some 2" OD, 1/4" wall seamless tube, and 13 big Johnny Joints
Hopefully once all stuck together it will be a rear coil conversion with 4 link setup for the rear of my Jeep XJ and a 3 link long arm setup for the front
Steelwork was laser cut by Lasered Components and then folded by a company somewhere around Stroud

Needed 2 lengths of scaffold tube today, found someone local selling some on FB Marketplace, didn't want to split so I had to buy the lot, not too bothered as it was cheap

If my plan comes together then it will get used as scaffolding, want to take down one of the walls of my lockup and rebuild it a few feet further across, not sure if I'll get planning for it tho

Another cheap spray gun... this time a HVLP with a 2.0mm tip for a faster/smoother finish with heavy 1pack paints... here next to my crappy old clarke gun that's done loads of work!
At £20 each, they're throwaway guns... I'll probably wash it and keep it like I always have, though... especially if its any good. If the weight is anything to by, it's not overly inspiring... but will it fire paint at steel doe?

OH wanted the utility room revamped so she designed it all herself and sourced all the tubes and fittings from DC Iron up near Newscasle, divvent yer knaaaa. I got some new scaffold boards and built it all up and it works a treat.
Got home to some T track and nuts and a paddly on/off switch for my table saw build:

Well the vice did. I can’t remember her name but she ran aground in the sixties. The residents claimed her and that vice was taken by my mate when he was a nipper out of her workshop. I’ll find the name, he did tell me.
There was a court case and the orcadians were in the right but they got shafted by the court in Edinburgh and ended up with pence.
The tongs came from another guy I know who’s a smith and I did some plasma-ing for. They were a gift.
