What is that the bottom half of a lathe with drip tray ? For your existing lathe ?After an 8 hour round trip, this still managed to follow me home

I don't think the legs were particularly orange and it was 25 - 30mm. It also appeared to be much more heavily armed.
Looks like a wood wasp of some species (Actually a Sawfly not really a wasp) the big spike is not a stinger but an ovadepositer (egg layer) and as the name suggests it lays its eggs in wood. They spend 5 or so years in the tree and then emerge only to lay eggs in another tree.I also acquired this in the back of my shirt collar as i was unloading the Drill!

Wera are my favourite screwdrivers by a mile & I found myself needing a long reach one last week. I didn't know they sold them, looks like the visas getting more abuse this month! Darn you anyway!
Double darn you! I'm after a decent torx set too! Currently using a cheap set of magnussons from screwfix & to be fair they're doing ok but one or 2 are getting worn.I have a whole mix of brands but am very fond of Weras. This set was only £21 from Amazon, flat/PH2/PZ2. They do a long Torx set too, T20/25/27/30 which i bought a while ago.

Hardinge turret lathe with a bit of tooling. Pays for itself on the first job. Needs a lick of paint and a couple of bushes. New belts ordered too, as it was persisting it down with sky juice when I collected. Needed to split it from the base as it was too tall on a pallet to go into the van. Cutting the belt was the quickest option. The other three are pretty hard as well. Surprisingly quiet when runningHe's teasing us... he's just a flirt!
That's a tidy looking machine. What make is it?Got this last week and well.impressed. accurate out the box, just put it together and worked on feed speeds. Cuts 1mm slices easy and not to slow. Hydraulic drop is spot on.
