Thats how they got damaged i suspect haven't, used it yet got to strip and clean it all thanks though i may not have realised that myself never used one before.

How could i not buy this gem today...Remember when B&D was half decent and made with that strange stuff they call metal,anyway totally original including the "complaint paper" iff not happy....I was very happy only paying £15 for it and its never going to be used as its an ornament now

not so sure that they are paul, certainly all the machines i have used have had the chamfer that way. what tends to wreck them is people bending flat bar/roundbar/stud iron with them, puts lovely dings in the front edge of the fingers.
looking at the pictures now im on my computer, it looks to have a good depth behind the fingers, makes multiple bends easier as you can feed the sheet from the back. if it ever wants for a new home let me know, im sure i can create some room

All the Edwards Truefold machines I've used over the years have had always had the fingers the opposite way to that picture with the chamfer down to the bed.

A Fobco star drill!
Local bloke never uses it so I have been trying to buy it for 12 months, just called in and he sold it to me.
Its very dirty and oily as it was last used in a garage, looks like one of the handles is missing but will have a proper look tomorrow, so any one got any spare Fobco bits?
The table is ok but a few chips are out of the side of the casting and one handle is missing.
Any one got a drawing? Know the Knob size as they are also missing so its Ebay or golf balls.

Looks like the one on the bottom is an old one with solid brass pins with no insulation.

I looked at them all.
Yes the bottom one is old and has no insulation and internally only 1 side has the earth connected internally.
4 have bean overloaded, marks can be seen. I think one was scrubbed clean.
The other Old one has a internal fuse, well it does, wrapped tin foil. Again 1 earth is connected.
4 are in good nick and will be used. They have serviceable fuses, all 10amp.

Brand new mystery wood table out of a well known chain store's skip, busted steel legs only held on by pidgeon poop tacks, price tag says £175, but its not worth that, looks like the oak you get on pallets !

Today i acquired this strange object, found in the club bonfire. It is badly damaged & warped from the heat of the fire, It appears to be made from bronze or gunmetal. About the only bit usable is the heavy cast base which is 10" in diameter. Im thinking its some kind of book stand? The top three bits with holes in were spring loaded & slid in the channels, Any ideas on what it was welcomed!
