A almost new Sat Nav.



Works as well.

A Halfords Battery Tyre inflator.
I have used one in the far past and I was not disappointed. Good to have one for the van.



Beat blowing up tyres with Nitrogen from the extinguisher refill bottle.




Lawn sprinkler and a service cabinet key.

To be honest I was thinking this lot is "not good".

Then with some odd noises for a human this was dumped.




Union Pillar drill, seized. But complete.

A Old Mamod. Box, or so I thought.



But I was wrong.

Dip the stripped cable end in silicone grease before you put the crimp on.

It is on the understanding I get it going again and use it, not just sell it on. It does unfortunately have a large rust hole in the underside of the tank.

1990? I think 89 model didn’t have usd forks and 91 model had the faired in headlights (not the blunt nose).

Cracking bikes, mate of mine had an 1100 model same year bought brand new, with a Vance and Hines race pipe on - what a machine!

That mamod is nice

It is an odd one.
It looks like it is the version from 1972.
But the whistle insert is a repair. Who did it has dismantled the boiler and fitted the insert from the inside.
As it would of been from the factory.

The super heater pipes are routed as they would of been from a version from 1960. As is the box.

The base plate sticker is a 1970's version, but the Mamod sticker on the boiler frame is from the 1960's

So it is either a very good repair, or a old engine re vamped by Mamod to sell in the 1970's

But it needs a lot of TLC.

New seals, a few solder joints need to be sealed.

I disagree, it used to be good, but went supermarket, mass produced years ago.

It’s not all made in Rock anymore. I can’t recall whether it’s the draught or bottled, bottled I think, but they shifted one of them to Burton. They didn’t tell at the time & the brewers were picked up on it. Its on the label now in small print.

I've only ever used around 78% nitrogen . . . seems to work well . . .

I lost the key to a tool site safe, searched everywhere for it so had to buy a new lock, as soon as I open the new pack how long do you think it will take for the old key to turn up ?
