I've liked that, but I'm still not convinced.
Wife is wife,
Mistress is mistress...
Partner, well it's a Peugeot, handy thing.

Genius, I see how it works nowThat’s an undercut tool. I’ve got 100 stainless washers to make so I will use this tool to put the undercut in before parting off. Once you part it off it will be already internally chamfered

Glad I'm in Scotland as NHS Scotland is very generous with free prescriptions; sensor is circa £50 but I won't be using the test strips I'd otherwise be using.
Tool that comes over from Eastern Europe and does it cheaper?*
(*Pre-Brexit, obviously.)
3" round/hexagon. You won't be able to grip 4"/100mm round pipe or hexagon nut with "shallow" jaws.
A new Chronos 160mm D1-3 Chuck for my Harrison, looks well made, I will clock it later. (The seller of the Harrison lathe I bought could not find the second set of jaws for the chronos 3 jaw fitted to the lathe, so gave me a refund on the chuck to buy a new one)

After 27yrs of having Type 1 diabetes I've finally taken the plunge and caught up with modern medical technology...
It's a Libre2 sensor that'll stay on for two weeks and communicate, using NFC (and Bluetooth for low/high blood sugar level alarms), with my phone. I've only had it on since 0930 and can already see the benefits.

If they pay postage - yes. If not then it may be cheaper to chuck it in the bin / repurpose.Should I send this back?
Fixed that for you . I do hear it is worthwhile stripping them down to ensure they have the swarf / dust cleaned out at the manufacturers.A new Chronos 160mm D1-4 Chuck for my Harrison, looks well made, I will clock it later. Just googled Sanou and it is identical down to the packaging. They appear to get an ok reputation: https://www.model-engineer.co.uk/forums/postings.asp?th=171997&p=1I believe those Chronos chucks are re-badged Sanou ones.

I'm going to tag you everytime I say it I just feel like a child if I refer to him as my boyfriend. I am all grown upThat's one I'm going to have to add to the "Things that bug you" thread.
Whatever happened to the use of boyfriend, girlfriend, fiance, fiancee, wife, husband etc.?
Interesting to see it is a marinized version - does it run?A bit of proper old school English engineering. A 10cc glow engine made by Meteor Engineering in Birmingham some time in the 70's. There is very little information about Meteor engines but from what I have been able to gather it was a bit of a shed industry, sand or die cast aluminum and manually machined parts. Found a review in a photocopied piece in sceptre magazine (http://sceptreflight.com/Model Engine Tests/Meteor 60.html )

I did wonder if it was on the p*ss or camera angle. If it's wrong send it back. How long is the taper part of your spindle? Most I have seen are not for the full length as per the drill arbor. It doesnt help that this was not ground concentric to the blank so part of the end was sharp corner and needed deburring.
Ah the foibles of being young - just wait a couple of years and you'll be wishing you were young again and not all grown upI'm going to tag you everytime I say it I just feel like it's like a child if I refer to him as my boyfriend. I am all grown up
I like Sanou stuff, I have a Sanou 1-16mm pillar drill keyless chuck that came from the cheapest nastiest pillar drill from years back, in the end I think it was given away, but I still have the chuck! And it works just fine it's even outlasted a couple of morse taper arbors, from me abusing things!Just googled Sanou and it is identical down to the packaging. Got these posters from my partners friend, he had a few so gave me a couple spares

Had a look in my Swisstech pocket reference, Din228-1A taper, should be 80mm long from 23.82mm and on this its under 50mm.I did wonder if it was on the p*ss or camera angle.
