not a fan of "partner" either, but I'm sure thier must be more options, than boyfriend....

Mines a 21st edition - 1979.Get a slightly older copy and they're not too expensive - e.g. there's a 25th edition on ebay for £38 at the moment. Machinery doesn't change that much that a 5 or even 20 year old edition isn't useful. Or get the Machinery & Metal Trades Handbook, which has most (but not all) of the metric stuff in the Machinery's Handbook without all the american nonsense.
Nothing to indicate that it won't run. Waiting on replacement bearings at the moment.Interesting to see it is a marinized version - does it run?
That is brilliant thanks.Mines a 21st edition - 1979.
Think we had an early 1900's at the last place
Download one (3915 pages) . . . although its nothing like flicking through a book to find what you want when you don't know what its called . . .
Got a link or number for them? Some new monster castors arrived today. They are all the same height (188 mm total, with 150 mm wheels), which you'd expect but I was a little uncertain as the ebay listing said the unbraked ones were 13 cm tall and the braked ones were 18 cm tall.

Massive overkill in terms of weight for what I want, but I want to be able to manoeuvre the unit over some very rough ground and bigger wheels should make that easier. I still find it slightly amazing that you can buy four castors of this size for £35 including delivery.
