Can you program it with CHIRP
No, or rather not yet
I have some software from the supplier however and that does an ok job
Can you program it with CHIRP
OK, so the encoder knows where the leadscrew is in rotation, so it knows where the table is. The stepper is set to turn the job at a calculated speed, taking into account the 40 to 1 ratio, the input of the dividing head. Simple - what could go wrong!
I guess the start point is crucial, how would they be referenced?
That size is handy if you can't find a micrometer type clamp.A little clamp:

Neil Paskin made these for a youtube video and then did a "guess the weight" competition on patreon to win one of five clamps. My guess was only 5 grams out so I won one of the five. It arrived today; I've no idea what I'll use it for (if anything) as it's very small (5 mm square grid paper for scale) but one can never have too many clamps!
Today we decided to add a new player to our team.
All really happy.
Some silver and electrodes also arrived but they don’t care me much today.
Really happy!!

A new pair of gloves and some bits for the chain saw, I normally use the Oregon stuff but my local place stock Husqvarna at the right price so well give it a go, the blade has more teeth so im guessing it will
be a smoother cut?
