Today was a good day at TYA Home For the Unwanted tools.
08:00, I am already in the play pen and a good human arrives.
Wants to give me stuff in exchange of stuff I have.
He needs the 3/8 square Cedar wood batons, I have many.
So for 2 bags(Think Animal feed bags size) he left me this small bundle.
Oh joy, another hammer.
Better.
The little gas torch is very good.
The OS map is old. No M5.

Some assorted hardwood destined for my turner mate, also from @Pete.
A new respect for Thule roof bars, like I had on my Focus estate.
A new hatred for FARAD roof bars which on their first outing today on the Mondeo today, bent like a bendy thing. I similarly abused and worse, the old Thule ones without complaint.
A small ratchet strap again from @Pete. to help secure the load on my dodgy FARAD bars.
A new respect for Covid. I've done bugger all, first time out and I'm knackered!
Oh, and a new dent in the Mondeo roof, my fault entirely.

Legs havent recovered from the 21km run so cycled to aldi. These were all the clamps they had left.
Slightly annoyed that they didnt have the small and medium in packs of 2 or 3 so I asked and got the small + medium as a pair. I have spent £21 this week on clamps
Im thinking to chop them in half as I dont do massive things. Then I can weld a round onto the offcut and use it in a hole on the bench.

Think we must be related. I knocked my box of bootlace ferrules off the shelf earlier. It's fallen (open of course) in between my yet to set up lathe which I've now to move to get to the ferrule mess. Instead of sorting it I went and saw @Pete.
