Another Exacta R.O. capstan lathe, this time a mark 2 so newer and possibly betterer.

Also comes with gear box not sure if it's a reversing type or not

A mere 250 mile round trip to the wilds of Lancashire.

The good forester is back on the road again, all it needed was lots and lots of money spending on it. Ahh, how utterly inconvenient.

The new air/fuel o2 sensor has really improved it though! Fuel efficiency is better than ever, I’m impressed.

And I overtook a car this morning and they caught up to me and decided to give me a talking to, many swear words, threats of violence, sorry guys I just switch off when you’re angry… no point arguing with people like that. The car doth fly along though

Funnily enough there was a police car and I sailed past no hassle. I guess doing 20 under the limit entitles people to think they’re a safe driver etc etc

Last evening, sore arm. Par for the course thinks I (had the same with vacation #s 1 and 2 iirc). This morning, sore arm + headache + shivering. What to do? Back to bed with paracetamol/electric blanket and hot water bottle - bliss .

Hot bath tonight before early to bed, got Doc tomorrow for bloods and delayed/postponed 'flu jab - this could turn into a double whammy.... still, all in a good cause eh?

Because I made him pick a simple service on the way home, so he would be home at a sensible time. Not at 13:00.

But good news.

As I was waiting for Green flop to arrive. Ok This time the recovery man was 45 minutes in arriving.
Would not even look at the issue, just rigged a jury rig water supply and followed me back the 18 miles back to the main dealer.,

As I waited, there was a skip.
It was full of house rebuild and tidy up stuff.

I looked.
I took.
I happy.
