Can I ask how you came by it? Not sure what the rules re 'treasure trove' are in NZ but I think here any such 'finds' have to be offered to the authorities? Maybe best not to 'advertise' the fact you have it , in case it's historically significant.

The work shop is pretty air tight and can get a bit muggy after being in there a long time. So I've bought one of these cheapy air quality monitors.

Has a built in rechargeable battery. An extractor fan had also been installed so the air can be changed when it gets stale

I would have assumed, if he is getting it made be a jeweller, that it would be a replica.

Original pieces can be altered to suit customer's particular requests, there was an element of ambiguity in the OP's post.

Those kits where very cheap it did tempt me but think I'd make it go well that's nice use it once then it'll take up space and not use it again, like some other er projects

Someone got done recently, six points on his license and a big fine, because they hit him for everything, mot, tax, insurance etc etc.
