The bonus find was the red item.
Different shop, still over the bridge in Wales.

Here's how to get it to stop steaming up. Its the same method taught and used for snorkelling and scuba diving.......
Wipe your saliva on the inside of the lens and then rinse it off, or, you could buy the commercially made equivalent which is no better.

Funnily enough, as per @Blobber above, I also received a Honeywell Bionic today! Went for the acetate one but also bought a replacement polycarbonate scratch/mist resistant one as a spare, also some disposable covers and a can of AC-90 - something I've never tried before. All from our swashbuckling friends with obligatory discount found on here.
Some laser cut steel discs from eBay also fell through the letterbox, and the Pferd Polifan discs that @Welderpaul was kindly selling on here also arrived today - many thanks.

Brought mine new in 1976 ,cost me £96 which at the time was a lot of money . It was in daily use for years and still going strong

That was an old biker trick to stop your visor steaming up. Just used neat, rubbed on and buffed off. Sort of worked but nowadays the lids with the pinlock system is the dogs danglers so no need for that old school hacks

Went for a test fitting of my Pictish bracelet which is a replica of a necklace design found buried in a few places in Scotland. The silver has come out of the acid so it has a white-ish hue to it. The woman knows I’m into metalwork so she took pictures of the whole process, dead interesting. The acid washes the flux off when it’s soldered. I’m not going to get a high shine so it weathers with use, as the original has a well-worn look (likely as it’s 1500+ years old!)

This garage has been my workshop for seven years and I'm only now sorting out some better lights, lovely bright LEDs.
Just temporarily strung up above the lathe to check there's no weird strobing going on. I've got two to put up, one each end of the garage. Think I'll use a double switch, both lights on at once will feel like a Men in Black neuralyzer.

Because I am also making a Woden 190/7A nice again.
But I am a bit shocked: Until the end of last year, I got heaps of watches, watch spare parts, hand tools and nice things from your island, several deliveries every month.
This was the first attempt since you became "sovereign" again.
Let's see.

From this £ 6.51 the credit card company made with exchange rate and what else they take € 8.01 which is ok.
What I didn't know is how things are going on our side now ....
3. Well, it seems that DHL, as a national postal service, feels called upon to handle goods under a certain value without being asked - for which they take the small amount of € 6,00.
4. Before, customs already had their fingers in it and took the usual 19% import VAT plus a small surcharge for the fact that the goods came from a third country: € 1,78.
In the past, my only concern was whether the sender would get the right RoyalMail rate. After 4 to 6 days, my things were usually here.
The process now took a good two weeks with customs clearance.
So it's safe to say that goods from the UK pretty much double in price, including shipping, before you get your hands on them here.

I had asked my main trading partners before the time came whether they had already made arrangements in the form of a branch in the Republic of Ireland.
Partly I was laughed at and I am quite sure now: the increased domestic demand makes up for all the losses in Europe! Or does it?
