it's a dam shame though when I got there the back door of the shoggy would not open. Ah an easy fettle......nope as the panel would not come of and broke it in the process. So a good deal goes bad.

Well I had to brave the elements last night to get diseasel for todays trip, to combine the journey while I was out a quick trip for essential wine and butter also saw these in the trolley, I now have 3 options do i keep them for a bit till all the stupid people cant buy them but will pay ridiculous amounts on the bay of greed and make a killing or do I give them to the grankids or do I use them as fire lighters?!

I mainly buy cheapies from UK drills,although I also have some high quality ones ,which last longer.
I’ve never been able to drill without hammer,but I do quench every so often.
I’ve had a few sds shanks snack though,twice they jammed in the drive,and scrapped the mc.
I spose they’re the weak link,unintentionally being only about 11mm.
The other cautious note,when you hit voids,causing jolts,is to be avoided,as it must snatch on the drive.

looking at that you needed to remove the top light gray panel before removing the bottem panel but youed not know tht untill what we can see now

The now-built ML7 (see here) can swing on the original base cabinet, with the corresponding results. Here and elsewhere a suitable steel plate under the machine was recommended ... I went allout:

At a steel fabricator not far from me, I found a leftover piece from a burn job.
Here I just came from our village blacksmith where we shot the holes in it.
The car is a RAV4 1.Gen ... Anyone want to give an estimate on the weight of the plate?

Yes, there is a big difference: I did not have a chip tray or raising blocks.

- Step one is the steel plate. That should bring much more stability.

- I've already been to the sheet metal worker today, and he's making me a tray - not such a nice eight-cornered one to match the base cabinet, but bigger and much higher at the back, this second step is definitely coming.

- The third step might be to decide on raising blocks, but I don't know yet.
The plate already gives me 30mm more height, let's see if that fits my configuration - long legs, short arms.
Raising blocks also make cleaning easier, of course ....
But whether I would then go with the originals for expensive money ... I'm sceptical, I'd probably go for solid steel blocks ...


Any suggestions?

Cost? Zero.

Waylaid a skip today, the foreign labourer wheeling it looked on in disgust as I swiped three, what I think might be sanitary towel bins.

Super clean condition. Couldn't find the lids though..

Of course I won't get out of it at zero, but it won't be particularly expensive either:

I take a complete sheet metal panel of 2x1000x2000mm from him, he makes the main cuts, notches and bends, I do the rest.

I'll make the splashback elevation to plug on to the tub, and what's left over will be my stock of sheet metal, which is always needed, because I've run out of sheet metal.
