I picked this trolley off the scrap this afternoon. It's got a dodgy caster that someone has tried to fix, but it'll probably be OK and almost certainly better than my other two trolleys which are both old tea trolleys.

I always wear my steelies (well plasticees as they don't freeze your toes off in the cold) in the garage. I have lost count of the number of times I have saved something I have dropped getting wrecked on the floor with a well placed toe cap!

To avoid any doubt, my thoughts before buying this were "ooh carbon fibre"

Looking at that strange seat I can see why .......both before & after buying it .

With similar conversations on the Lotus Seven club forum, where carbon nosecone,s cycle wings, rear wings, aeroscreens, seats, steering wheels, no paint, no heater, etc etc and all the weight saved . . . and someone who really needed to cut back on the pies clambered in . . I used to mention an advert I saw on US TV while was pretty much living over there in 2005 - some product/device/treatment that claimed to remove several pounds of compacted facial material from somewhere up where the sun really ought not to be shining . . .

First time I saw it, I was sat in an Applebees enjoying their maple nut brownie . . .

My toes twitch if I do anything involving even slight hint of work and I'm not wearing my protective boots . . .

There's a guy over on retro-rides who appears in lots of photos grinding, wire-wheeling, welding . . in open-toed sandals or crocs . . . I wouldn't be able to work within ear-shot of him, 'cos when it happens, I don't want to be the one picking his toes up to hand to the paramedic . . .

Following on from my 'new van' thread. I acquired This. within budget. With enough left to get a tow bar fitted. I'm also thinking about not putting windows in, but a reversing camera. I think it actually works out cheaper.

I put one of the dashcam type mirrors in and it has been pretty good. Not only does it act as both front and rear dashcam but when you put it in reverse gear the view lowers (you can adjust on touch screen) for reversing. The reason I really needed mine is because the bleeding dog is always blocking the left hand mirror and I get sick of telling him to sit down

Have you not watched the vids of the indians working on lorry engines, suspensions etc? Thy're lucky if the have sandals - mostly flip flops or nothing...

Brilliant videos though, they do amazing work with very little in the way of tools and equipment. Just get yer nightshirt and sandals on and off to work you go !

Lockhart seem to do catering equipment, but I couldn't find that "Revola" name on their website. The buffer is missing off the leg that has the problem, so I wonder if it's a part of the retaining clip - it's been modified by having a wooden plug rammed in, and a 6" woodscrew as a pivot.

Nice find, I used a tea trolley for some years for my tool box … until the wheels went goofy with the weight. It was far better than the proper tool trolley that I replaced it with as it was small & manoeuvrable.
