Oh, and a new cap tester meter too, mixed reviews about using it on in circuit capacitors but so far I've not had a chance to use it.

A few days ago I acquired a drum burnisher.

Works fairly well but I think I could be doing with better quality drums, one is already knackered.


I also acquired this, wasn't expecting much but it actually works quite well and will be handy for washing the salt and grime off the bike. Take round a bucket of soapy water and a bucket of fresh water and get on with the job instead of trailing round hoses etc and it is much better than a garden hose anyway. Battery is supposed to last 30min, we will see, shame the DeWalt ones don't fit as I have a few of them.

I have 2, one was second hand and had a broken nozzle, however a standard pressure washer nozzle fits and I had a dead one of those (A petrol one with a broken rod so dead as dead could be) there is a magnet in the long extention to allow the full power so if you want to bypass the auto low power when on short mode then thats all you need. Love mine, have been used for putting out fires and cleaning everything from bloody tables at a game prep session to cleaning toilet floors (mud!) at a scout site. They are really good in my view but I run them with a 4AH battery

Hi all!

Myford,
the gift that keeps costing:

A taper for the tailstock to be able to use a small old Metabo drill chuck that came with the ML7.
A travelling tip that is sure to disappoint the already low expectations placed in it, as heavy as it turns.
And a couple of centre drills that we will see if they justify their low price ....

Once again an old wooden box, again a bit rickety, only this time bigger.



The box doesn't get any prettier inside either .... but the contents promise to be interesting:

A large height marker (scale >300mm, >12"), apparently never used before.

And the Multifix "Aa" QCTP family is getting bigger:
