Beside torch tips, it can double for cleaning out root canals.
I was thinking of money as much as a quality precision fit . You could print a whole bed of the inserts whilst you do other things & have ready made spares on hand by the dozen . There are some amazing new filaments that weren't on the market six months or so ago . I'd be happy to print off four sets of such inserts for you to play with if you can send me the STL file .... Printed for free .Don't have a 3d printer but even if I did I reckon there are at least a few reasons they would not be as good.
1. Strength/rigidity, I reckon Acetal will be a lot better than most common printed plastics
2. Friction, Acetal is low friction, I think most 3D printed materials would have more friction.
3. Time, it will take me under 1 minute to make one, I reckon 3D printing will take longer.
Will bolted timber be as strong as lashed & pegged timber and being unsupported not split ?We are going to bolts and timber, it's to get as many random badges done in a year as possible.... Then off to camp with it and some large foam water bombs....
Thanks for the offer but I could do the same on the mill, just get a sheet of Acetal, press a button and come back 1/2hr later and there would be 30 or so waiting for me.I was thinking of money as much as a quality precision fit . I think the clamping /retaining plates would be very helpful with printed blocks being used.
here is enough for 4 boats, time is 25mins but I would have maybe another 2 or 3 mins to do the final op.I was thinking of money as much as a quality precision fit . Ours. for obvious reasons will have no bolts in it. But some very cleaver joints in it's construction. We already lug around 3 tons of kit round with us, so logistics are going to have a big say in how it's built. We are going to bolts and timber, it's to get as many random badges done in a year as possible.... Wow ! is that your own tube clip for milling ? I must still be stuck in the 3D stone age as I only have a wire free mouse.here is enough for 4 boats, time is 25mins but I would have maybe another 2 or 3 mins to do the final op.
Looks a good size can for the money.
Might not even be his hands. How can you tell without a mug? he might have tiny hands
an even better price then ...How can you tell without a mug? he might have tiny hands
It looks like a Chinese machine , check out the spelling on the label "maust " for must .Bayerwald makes decent bands.
I use them on my bandsaw too
Fitted with a wi-fi speed /braking recorder & time tracking device for cheaper insurance ?Not for me, but an early 17th birthday present for my son, his first car, needs some work but it’s a good project for us to do together and he can learn as we do it. Needs a couple of patches on the rear inner sills and a good service and going over. He’s made up and can’t stop grinning. View attachment 331648
Looks good. I acquired a nice little 206 for my boy when he passed his test. Not for me, but an early 17th birthday present for my son, his first car, needs some work but it’s a good project for us to do together and he can learn as we do it.
