Liberated this chainsaw from the skip at work, still had some fuel in and chain oil and what looks like a brand new chain. Plans for the weekend now includes trying to get it running.

throw a tea spoon of 2 stroke mix down in the carb while holding the throttle open (i think under that top cover and remover the filter

choke pull till it coughts then choke half way it should run for a couple seconds with what fuel is then in it

thats the first test i allwayds do

I would definitely call that "the good times", the chop and pull saw above shouldn't be much younger either.

I have a digital G-Shock watch which I've had for about 20 years but have never worn because it's too 'clunky' for my small wrist, with too many 'functions' - I just want a watch to tell me the time....... It's nearly ended on eBay a few times but I don't sell on there any more.

IT's a genuine G-Shock GA2100 but the paintwork was done by the seller- It's not one of those £500 customised jobbies!

Unearthed more of my dad's tools, a serious soldering iron wrapped in paper dated July 1966 and a Garrington pipe wrench, jaws look unused, but like a lot of his tools it has been painted with some sort of silver paint that leaves a mark on your hands when touching it, I think he must have had a few gallons of surplus paint he "acquired" to use up.

After searching the net I finally found one seller that had a practical size ( 95mm ) parabolic blind spot mirror which I've wanted for our van. Quality is better than I expected. Happy day.

Edit: For anyone interested, the brand name is SUMMIT, and its designation is RV-15

Yeah, I dug it out to have a look and it does have hands - been so long since I saw it I'd forgotten .
Prices for G-Shocks seem to be all over the place, but this is the same as mine - supposedly a 'limited edition'? Seems a bit high to me . Mine still has original box and User Manual.

Would have given my left testicle for that a few weeks ago, had a drill rig stuck over a hole, diagnosed as hydraulic pump failure but was actually the engine so completely imobile. Had to get creative with the telehandler hydraulics to remove the rod then go cross country to get behind the machine and drag it to a wider part of the site

Seller resent the drills and said I could keep the snips as a gift, now that I opened they have ground CrV jaws, so better than my old ones which are getting a bit blunt.

Nice quality.
Last week discovered 2 CK torches.
