Taking up hedgelaying Parm?

Taking up hedgelaying Parm?
Keep meaning to buy a bigger one, my Britool "only" goes up to 810nm.
Bet you'll enjoy doing up all 80 nuts with that.
Mine is even worse, only 760nm… in its defence it is a work of art as far as torque wrenches go, machined from one piece solid billet. It was given to me recently by someone who retired and wouldn’t be needing it.Keep meaning to buy a bigger one, my Britool "only" goes up to 810nm.

Watch out for the instructions regarding subsequent coats. I got a nice crackle finish when I applied another coat after 5 days.£4 a can in lidl, it's the direct to rust part I'm liking as well as not having to use a brush. Closest equivalent I can find on ebay is ~£7

Protect the sheep at all cost!Planning for a zombie invasion, you never know
Recently purchased a Jeep ZJ Grand Cherokee so am working through it sorting out previous work and/or lack of it
Have discovered Rock Auto in the US and how easy it is to get stuff for what is a relatively rare car in the UK as long as you don't have the 2.5TD
So I gained some fridge magnets that were freebies

And some front and rear spring seats
Been trying to find an exhaust, local factors say no can do, shipping was a bit speedy from the USA but stumbled across a tailpipe on eBay for a tad over £30
Our TM has been banging on about getting a calibrated torque wrench for a long time, went to munch up some hub nuts with it today and that one is 350nm short of where it needs to be. May need to get the multiplier out tomorrow, that one is only rated at 1000nm.

those (even the cheap ones like that) are a life saver for big wheel nuts, I bought a cheap one to test it out and it's saved my **** a few times - especially twin wheelers where it's hard to get decent leverage without nocking the socket off to an angle
I know where there are tanks & stuff with the Zombie's Z on them is that any good?Planning for a zombie invasion, you never know
I like a simple socket ended straight bar that you can put a 3 foot long 1& 1/2 " bar through at the other end .. raise the jack under the socketed bar so it is parallel then insert the bar and stand on it and if needed drop a sledge on the end of the bar whilst you stood on it . I've never had nuts not loosen with this method save for one time time on and Antar when some darling put a LH threaded wheel stud & nut on a RHS hub .. I sheared it after using a six footlong scaffolding pudlock pole as a power bar , under a12 stone over 6 foot pressure , getting a mate to " firmly tap " the bar with a sledge whilst I was hanging on itHardcastle HCA362 Torque Wrench Set for sale online | eBay

once had a 6 wheel check done, garage said it needed new shoes on the back - (it didn't really but I said fair enough do them for me)
next day just about to load at a slaughterhouse in the middle of nowhere.... 3 flat tyres on the back - mechanic had managed to crush 3 of the valve extenders between the rims as he put the tyres back on - and they way overtighten the nuts :-(
had a 10ton bottle jack in the van, it was supposed to be decent one but it was junk, ended up doing press-ups on the bar to push it down with my back up against the truck body to hold me down, wheels off and wheel them 400 yards up hill to get to a compressor, was knackered by the time I was done!
I have got a couple, but finding the time to do it is the hard bit. Thanks for the offer thoughLeaf spring is idea from what i understand. Ive got some if you want ?
1st order I placed with them last year was for a set of brake hoses for an XJ, expedited delivery from Rock Auto was cheaper and quicker than buying in the UK, ordered 7pm Monday, arrived 2pm WednesdayYears ago I purchased rear wheel bearings for my old 1950 80” Land Rover from Rock Autos in the states, they were peculiar but cross referenced with bearings used on some Yank pickup and were half the price from Rock Auto than they were in the UK even after taxes. I still have the fridge magnet on the fridge, 80” is long gone.
I've found a few things from them are cheaper than buying the same thing over here - eg Vauxhall VX220 pump connector - over 20 quid, used. Rockauto - 8 quid, delivered. For two. From a Chevy Astro.Recently purchased a Jeep ZJ Grand Cherokee so am working through it sorting out previous work and/or lack of it
