Unfortunately I'd ordered a small air powered DA sander so not only am I disappointed, someone else might be as well, unless they really wanted a DA sander!
I hope it came with the original manuals, it looks well looked after. It does not but it does have the programmable memory so you can set up defined areas to scan.
I did along with a few probesI hope it came with the original manuals, it looks well looked after.
I’m curious which probes?I did along with a few probes
Two far field wands and a near field loop. They are sniffer probes for EMC pre compliance.I’m curious which probes?
I know the things used to do that sort of thing for a living! I take it you’re into radio? Two far field wands and a near field loop. They are sniffer probes for EMC pre compliance.
Not really, I used to design electronic controllers. In my new job I don't do that any more but wanted to keep my skill set up so thought it would be a good opportunity to have a pro bit of kit for not a lot of money!I know the things used to do that sort of thing for a living! It's a "CLC" brand. It seems to be good quality for the price. Here's a link to the US Amazon page. I'm an Amazon Prime member, so shipping was free for me in the US.Thats a handy looking tote! mine is rammed and been looking at a bigger one, what make is it if you don't mind me asking?
Exactly what I've got, well worth doing some mods to it first of all swap to angular contact spindle bearings. You can also adjust the controller pots if it stalls out on cuts you'd expect it to do.Celebrated the change of job this morning with this:

At 300mm between centres and 180mm maximum diameter over the bed it's not the biggest machine on the market but it's perfect for what I need.
Much thanks for that, looks like a very useful resource .Exactly what I've got, well worth doing some mods to it first of all swap to angular contact spindle bearings. You can also adjust the controller pots if it stalls out on cuts you'd expect it to do.

You got the link for the eBay 1" £11 sockets please.Few recent acquisitions..
Hyundai compressor. "Super silent" is a bit of a stretch, but it is quiet. 35% off because it was a return with no box. It's a nice little machine. I did up the tank pressure to 120psi though.

Some Aircat long air ratchets. The larger was advertised as ½" but is also ⅜". Have found a repair kit from an identical one branded as Hazet to convert to ½" though.
