It boggles the mind as to what some people throw out. 
I've noticed full unopened buckets of paint (good stuff) in a skip, while my Wife and I were out on one of our local evening walks.
I've noticed full unopened buckets of paint (good stuff) in a skip, while my Wife and I were out on one of our local evening walks.Not today, but yesterday I got a red tin, 5 AF sockets, T handle, 5" extension and a Z4124 ( what ever that is! ).
All the sockets etc are Britool, new and unused Old Stock.
£7.00 - I'm rather pleased!
Any one care to share what the official name of a Britool Z4124 is?
WWWensleydale suggests it is a sump plug tool.

Blade choice is now a problem, too many options!
I only cut wood on my mine so I replaced the generic "cuts anything known to man" blade with an Evolution-compatible TCT blade from Saxton Blades, and the difference in finish is very pronounced.
The original blade works fine but for a better finish the dedicated blade is world's apart.

Yea i get offered them all the time from customers houses and knowing what i know i always decline...so light there's less scrap value than man hours too. Having said that if i had the room for one i would love a greenhouseStripping and building one of those is a lot more work than it seems. I had to demolish one once and thought about re-locating it for a few quid instead. soon changed my mind

Remaining in the spirit of this thread (acquired, not bought cheap!), I acquired this today (actually yesterday, but it was late by the time I got it home)!

It's a Tronxy X5S 3d printer and I can't wait to get using it
It needs a good clean and a couple of screws tightening here and there, but it's hardly been used. Well pleased.
