Been years since I dabbles in RC with the battery improvements it's much more enjoyable these days.

Cheap crawler. Motors on axle and the articulation is phenomenal.

Could do with replacing the 6kg servos with something beefier.

Wheel spacers on route as full lock just fouls the links.

Eventually il make some Ali links swap the shocks and see if I can squeeze brushless motors in the axles.

Plenty of power as is on 2s lion

Mexican Hat Pig Feeders: I've been looking for these at a sensible price for years. Heavy, cast iron, and have bars so an individual piglet can have it's own 'space' Up until now I've been using rubber feeding trugs, but they get tipped over in seconds, and chewed to bits.

As the yupees seem to think these make trendy garden planters or water features the prices they fetch have become stupid. Anyway by placing a wanted add on FB market place I got these for £20 each - bargains but I had to travel a long way to collect. The smaller one is intact and as you can see already serving it's purpose splendidly. The big one is missing it's bars so a bit of fabrication called for.

Yes light coloured pigs suffer from sunburn and people have been known to rub sunscreen creams on them but I defy you to rub it on these active little fellows. Being on concrete they can't wallow. I've rigged a 'hydroponic cooling system' for the really hot weather - at the moment when not feeding they tend to lie snoring in their sleeping quarters so out of the sun, but I'm planning to rig some fine green netting to give them more shade.

When I built the sties a few years back I gave serious consideration to casting a wallow into the floor and putting earth in it, but the fear that very young piglets would end up drowned stopped me.

There's some chatter marks in that so must be a fair stickout unsupported, and the CC** insert looks like a cheap one, branded inserts make a good difference (probably why the seco button insert makes a better job)

Yesterday the machines from prior post arrived. No information about the condition available because it was from an auction.
Surprisingly both are doing fine on stick. Try to find a proper torch to squeeze out max power on tig mode.
500A on 4mm stick is not the best strategy.
These machines are french made. Commercy if iam correct.
Bloody serious transistors and diodes. The downside are aluminum busbars if I need to crack them. ;-)

Having sampled more than a few mouthfuls of each I declare it a tie; neither striking me as particularly delicious... in fact this is probably a good thing else I'd scoff the entire pack. And then feel ill...

We had the occasional pigs about 40 years ago and allowed their water trough ( old shower basin) to flood which they then turned into a 2 ft deep wallow . I will never forget the look on their faces as they just lay up to their ears in mud the consistency of custard. Sheer ecstasy.
