Well, normally yes but when someone waves four boxes of discs in the air and shouts "anyone want these before I bin them?" you don't stop to consider that

Lloyd&Jones occasionally have the offer of buy 2 boxes of 125mm cutting discs (50 per box) and get a 240V Makita 125mm grinder free

Get a spare handle for the screwdriver set.

The yellow insert do sometimes fail. Makes using them uncomfetable.

2½ words: Exchange & Mart, where you'd get the offer of a free grinder with the purchase of <loads> of discs.

Look neat - above low eBay-level, weren't expensive, arrived very quickly, packaged perfectly and as a bonus a pair of work gloves as cushioning material.
What's not to like?


I got some tips on knurling here and @Lewis_RX8's DIY report also inspired me to try my hand at it, but now I needed a quick solution.

If the diameter is large just use them a push in /bump knurlers nice and slow and very gentle shallow feed for 1 minute or more till the depth is obtained & use a few drops of light oil .
To make the knurling wider carefully overlap by 2 mm or so and very every gently feed in and adjust if required till the cutters pick up the knurling exactly

These Jeep CJ mirrors,will modify the spherical ended mounts for the camper.
Weird,I’d had these on my watch list,@£25,from 2 months ago,they “popped “ up for £. 5.70,ever the oppurtunist,I purchased,ended up at checkout paying £5.40! .
