Aren't you supposed to buy discs to fit your grinder, rather than grinder to fit your discs?
Lloyd&Jones occasionally have the offer of buy 2 boxes of 125mm cutting discs (50 per box) and get a 240V Makita 125mm grinder freeAren't you supposed to buy discs to fit your grinder, rather than grinder to fit your discs?
Not in the olden days.Aren't you supposed to buy discs to fit your grinder, rather than grinder to fit your discs?

Well, normally yes but when someone waves four boxes of discs in the air and shouts "anyone want these before I bin them?" you don't stop to consider that
Could you make a bigger guard for a say 115mm grinder or will there be speed issues?
If the diameter is large just use them a push in /bump knurlers nice and slow and very gentle shallow feed for 1 minute or more till the depth is obtained & use a few drops of light oil .
Something for turning

Look neat - above low eBay-level, weren't expensive, arrived very quickly, packaged perfectly and as a bonus a pair of work gloves as cushioning material.
What's not to like?
I got some tips on knurling here and @Lewis_RX8's DIY report also inspired me to try my hand at it, but now I needed a quick solution.
