We had one of those in the Mens shed I used to go to ... they need to be kept free of dust build up under the belt and often the belt needed retracking if it's been heavily use on one side edge.This arrived today. Bought for my brother. Aldi special £99. Far more expensive in Screwfix etc.
My brother wants it for model boats and planes. It works very well on metal though. Heavy about 20kg and a pretty fast belt speed.

They are also great for hand sharpening all manner of twist drills & for sharpening tig tungsten's held in a battery drill .
