Got a 100mm er40 backplate to use my collets on a rotary table, would also quite like to knock up an adaptor plate to be able to use it on lathe. £30 from Amazon which didn’t seem too drastic considering they seemed to be a fair bit more everywhere else I looked.

A friend brought scraper plates, from the Soviet BK6-OM alloy. Sharpening on 8 edges.

It will be interesting to compare with Sandvik plates and other manufacturers from Europe.

A properly packaged bicycle tyre. £17 is not bad for a good branded one, delivered correctly.
Previous UK sent ones were folded and twisted for post, it bggers up the sidewall and buldges if they do that.

Amazon wont let me order any more could use a second.

Was I? I am quite happy with it provided Im not paying extra delivery charges T

The c*ntinential I removed, disintergrating at the bead with rust showing, and the different rubber of logo peeling off. Only had a few months of use but bought in 2014. He other pair bought at the same time, cracked all round in centre of the tread. Stored in garage too.

Had it once before a year ago. Just really ill for one day then I got on with stuff whilst isolating for 10 days.

Leading up to this I'd had I a bit of a dodgy tum judging by the seriously offensive wind I had. Yesterday afternoon dead tired as in dropping. Said to SWMBO I felt "out of sorts". Went to bed super early. Woke up feeling "alright". Went to work today. Pretty soon started getting hot and cold. Did a test, positive. Came home early, went to bed and slept for a few hours. Runny nose now and just taking paracetamol. Plan tomorrow is get out in the fresh air and potter, just keep moving. Saw what it did to my mum and now dad.
