Yesterday after work I met up with a long time friend and we spent 2 hours on a gun range.

Yes, the clever ones will recognise the box as the same one as my new front loader arrived in.

as you all know now, I am not good at acquiring stuff on my own accord. However, between me and my boss, we have got our grubby mittens on a IRD B750 balancing machine... 34T capacity, 6m bed, refurbished a few years ago and only used 3 times since then.. $250,000 list price for a brand new one (this is as close to brand new as you can get).. we paid less than 10% of list price.

not a pic of the machine but the same spec one..

it's not going to fit in our workshop so it's off to a local firm who we are hiring some space off... anyone want to offer to shift it for us? Scotland to Liverpool..

When I saw the writing I imagined paying $25k, then waiting 6 weeks and it not being quite what you expected

Picked this petrol strimmer up from @Piero the other day.

Needed a bit of fettling and a new reel and wire but it now runs lovely with a mix of Castrol 747 fully synthetic race oil!
Mmm I love the smell of Castrol in the morning!

it was given to me today. The man who was on the Mulberry brought a friend.

He was a Hurricane, later a Typhon armour and he wanted me to have this for helping his friend.

I do not know him, but we had a good talk about guns and fun. I plan to ask my gun owning friend if we can take some of these old men on a shot. to watch.

I am not keeping it, I plan to clean it up, re shape the head and mount it. so it can be displayed.

sorry missed that one but at least you did get your forklift after all its a bit smaller than you expected and i think the weight carrying capacty is a bit smaller than you wanted but at least you dont need to pass a test to drive it
