Sims Recycling Solutions has a mobile shredder fitted in the back of a 7.5 ton waggon.

They have cctv on the way in and out so the customer has a record of all electronic material being destroyed

Found a pair of unused Dickies work trousers in a skip in exactly my size, gave them a rinse, and I look fabulous in them.

I like this way of shopping, its good value.

I had to buy a bit of mirror glass to fit a nice frame i found, cost me 17 quid , Ouch ! On the way home I found a branch of Next being refitted, half a dozen full length mirrors going in the skip.

SWMBO sent me down to Aldi for some fish, she said if there is none get something else so I got a retractable airline for £20 ish.

That'll be a bit chewy.

There's a post somewhere about the price of welding rods. I've just bought 4.5kgs of 4mm esab OK 46.00 rods for £2!

Some of the rods are rusty so I was worried they would be rubbish. So tonight I selected the worst rod I could see, cranked up the Pickhill & started welding.

Need not have worried - they welded beautifully & I nearly had a peeler. Had I bothered to clean up the steel the results would've been perfect.

Collection of Loader has bean delayed, fork lift is due in the next few days.

bought an airline hose today so hopefully no tripping over hose everywhere , a lad had it on ebay for £125 but took £80 cash , big reels theses ( 50ft ) , said he had another 4 left, bargain in anyone up my way is after one

Todays delivery of the 2 items has bean delayed, due to unforeseen circumstances.

I can cancel the order and refund the 10% deposit, or we can arrange a new date.


It goes on a bit, but that’s the guts of it. So not a happy TYA. A phone to the vender, local to me and the site of a good car boot sale. It was discovered late yesterday there is an issue with tittle of owner ship. Nothing the vender or the person who traded them in, or me.

Yes I am innocent.

The forklift has stolen parts and or is a stolen item, which lead on the a deeper look into the JCB. No news on that.

The vender sounded genuine about the cancelling of the sales. But leaves me red faced.


I am not going on with the sale.


So sorry people, no pictures of the my new acquirements.

Glad you didn't get lumped with something dodgy Vark, better in the long run to have the money and not something which could be considerably "warmer" than it should be!

I have no idea what will happen to the machine now, but it is not my problem.
