If you are going to end up with a visible bead then white CT1 will go yellow. It's only cosmetic not a failure per se. BT1 is better and won't yellow.
I'll often use CT1 as the main defence on a joint, say between tiles where they come down onto a bath. Wipe off the excess with cheap baby wipes and let set. Then do your bead in a silicone of your choice which can be periodically renewed. Forever White does what it says on the tube.

It's a sod to get out your hair or off your clothes & looks bad if you've had to take a desperate pee whilst some is unknown to you on your hand & marked your trousers in the danger area .. guess how I know ?
My lass is now telling me to get rid of two pairs of perfectly serviceable comfortable black moleskin trousers because of the witness marks that happened when I was sorting out the wet room sink plumbing in Nov last year , some of it fell on my nether region area as I was laid on my back directly under the U bend , tried to wipe it off with hilarious results .....water , meths & isopropanol just smeared it more .
I'm not sure what our new Ukrainian lady lodger thought of me when I stood up to say , "Welcome to our home " .

Yes, body is still on the rotisserie requiring quite a bit of work still.
One of the prettiest Triumphs made I think. I remember when I saw one for the first time Mwnt beach car park if I recall..Yeah, and call it Vintage!
