I have one too and love it. The fuel consumption and road tax not so much but I'd get rid of the BMW than the Shogun

Yes indeed, I am planning on a 2m/70cm rig along with a HF rig to be permanently fitted. The HF antenna will not be permanent as I don't think a 10m tall pole will survive for long
