It is our 'china' anniversary (I didn't have a clue what it was called) today and Mrs TF bought us some appropriate mugs.

Cycling home from work today one of my pedals seized up, it would free up for a bit then go stiff, roll under my foot and scrape the ground. It seemed to have a bit of end float. On further inspection, quite a lot of end float!
No idea where the bearings have gone, but I need it fixed by 5:45 tomorrow morning. Luckily the local bike shop was still open, and very happy to take my money. I was overdue an upgrade anyway...

I have all of the details requested there. The PO did not recall if she registered the warranty or not and she bought it about 2 years ago. A shame as it was totally unused and new condition without even a plug fitted on 30th April when I bought it.
I will ring R tech and see what they say. Would be great if there was even a year warranty left. Or if given the circumstances they might give me 3 years - ill ask anyway.

It happened to me first time I tried them! I recall doing so at some traffic lights in the centre of Salisbury in the mid-90's... there was a bottle of Jameson's in a bottle cage - unopened!!!
