My Ryobi recip saw broke today and I'm guessing everyone's 1st thought is that Ryobi are rubbish
Sorry to disappointed, its about 12 years old and while it's not used regularly it has had lots of use including cutting up the body and chassis of 2x Fronteras and a Disco, house renovation and extension, garage build etc and it has always delivered
It still works, it's just the release mechanism for the blade has ceased to function so needing a replacement quickly I bought another
Local B&Q had them in stock and reasonable price, I did look at getting a Bosch 18V jobbie but at 3 times the price I'll stick with Ryobi for this and use my badaptor to run it off my Bosch batteries
