Congratulations, well done, don’t forget to tell us the new call.I passed my Amateur Radio full licence today thanks to all of those who have helped me on my journey!
It all started with @roofman to whom I am eternally grateful
There are many on here who have helped behind the scenes and given me the incentive to go from zero to M0!!
Once again I thank you all and this fantastic forum that has kept me sane and motivated
My thoughts are why should i advertise a dealer i can not stand, told the cop the same and he even admitted it would still be recognized by the ANPR with just the name trimmed. "Today i was mostly a cash cow"

Bit harsh agreed, but I suppose the cop thought that there would be a 99.9999% chance he might not bother!I tad harsh really when there's thousands driving/ riding out there with plates that aren't even close to legal , but you get it ..........would of thought a
" get one made the correct size please " and on your way another biker too ! .

I'd be interested I a review as I need to get something other than 36 grit for final finishing etcOrdered these late sunday night from Amazon because I realised i'm out of strip / clean and 80 grits that i need for a job first thing tuesday... so amazon prime to the rescue, no idea what the quality is going to be like but figured it was worth a try.

Been there on the plate thing on a modded but totally legal, as far as MOT, turbo bike, and to add insult, the unmarked knob was squeezing me out on a joining slip on a totally empty dual carriage, let it rip to get a space, mid 3 figures had to break hard for the pr*ck to catch up when he put the sparklers on...£100 fixed penalty for trimming 15mm off the bottom of my reg plate on my KTM, (removed the dealers name)
I won one of these new sealed in an eBay auction today. I already have a 5 or so year old cheap wi fi usb endoscope but this type should be easier to use and handier with the cable wrapped around it and much shorter it suits my automotive needs better.

It is quite easy to set up using the video. I wonder are people not resetting the bit before doing the split point sharpening etc?
I will try it out fully tomorrow and test the bits after & report back.
I am embarrassed to say I have never sharpened a drill bit before
I usually buy a good set and use them for 2 or 3 years then buy another set. I managed to damage one of my new German hss drill bits and hence wanted to be able to sharpen from now on. The fresh drill bits put out proper chips, so fast.
Where I think I went wrong was drilling a 3mm pilot hole then going for 7.5mm. My new cordless drill is a bit of a beast and I immediately damaged the 7.5mm bit. Taking chips off the outer edges. User error but if I can sharpen them I have some old sets which can be brought back to life and spread around my two garages for ease of use.
