Very impressed with it especially as I have no ide of the power and speed settings to use and just plucked some numbers out of the air
It is just a diode laser so only any good for cutting wood/paper etc so not sure if that is what you are after when you mention trumpf.Price? That's just what i've been looking for, and probably cheaper than a trumpf one!!!
Yes marking stainless is what i want it forIt is just a diode laser so only any good for cutting wood/paper etc so not sure if that is what you are after when you mention trumpf.
I bought it because I wanted to etch anodised aluminium instead of having to do it via the milling machine, also wanted it for etching text onto stainless panels and tests this evening show it works well.
It cost me £550 on the Prime deal, list is £699 but I usually see it hovering between £600 and £650.
Pic of the stainless etching on a scrap from the plasma, outlines and fills.

I could certainly give it a go at engraving but would really need the labels supplied as I don't use that thin material, 1.5mm is the thinnest and it is not good finish.Reckon you could do me something along these lines?
Problem is i'll only be wanting small quantities and all the big firms want you to order 100 odd

I just returned from a road trip to Shrewsbury, to acquire a late model Honda nc750x. It has just 4000 miles on it, and has only had one previous owner. Happy day.
What's it for?A quantity of aluminium
