the normal blue ones I’ve been using often rip putting on, these have lasted very well with only a three pairs over a couple of days. But this has including cutting a body shell up so plenty of sharp edges, I’m sure normal day to day car activities a pair would last a day for me.

if your using them to keep your keyboard clean your doing it to much

Got this last week. Only just got round to testing it though.



Better than my previous crimps, & there are inserts avaiable for most connectors.

Some comparisons of crimps against my other set. Same connector & wire.

Less distortion & deformation with the new crimps. They weren't cheap, (though I did buy them when a deal was on, so got them for around ⅔ of current price), but initial test suggests money well spent.

I was wondering, if they're variable speed that might be a bit more manageable than the bouncy castle blower...
As they're only 2-wire and AC 240v, I suspect they're fixed speed though, and wound-field so not ideal - if they're series-wound they can run away and overspeed if the air round the squirrel fan stalls, can be unpleasant! Could be good for experimenting, 7500 RPM though they say they're 1/10 HP so not going to have a lot of torque!

Lidl have some Parkside Performance stuff out today.

I went and picked up a 9 inch cordless grinder. Brushless and 5 year warranty for £90 ain't bad



I also bought 2no 20V 8ah batteries as I have several performance items now and will be handy to have the large capacity batteries on hand.

Another entry for me today. I've never had a proper power supply I always make do with spare car batteries etc.

Then I bought 2 at the same time on ebay. A new 30v one and a nice all metal Weir 60v one with analogue gauge full working order £40 on ebay.



The Weir one feels like a nice solid built item.

These should make automotive troubleshooting easier. Maybe even help with my Broken welder projects! (Like testing the 48v relays which are dead in my Tec Arc welder)

Bought this last Friday. Tested it today, & it is nice to use. No jarring of the hand. Did need to tickle the edge with the 3" grinder & a flap disc first though, as it was a dull sharp.
