Nice term for a thief.- a jack of all trades perhaps

Just had the smaller one apart to check it over. Didn't realise they were completely brass/bronze inside, I'd assumed they'd have a rubber seal on the mechanism. Those pumps are great.
I have a few myself.
Antiques roadshow - " I bought this in a charity shop for £3 " - bet the shop never saw any of the £15k it realised subsequently at an auction.
That’s exactly what I was implying !Nice term for a thief.
I was in Poland the weeks after the Russians withdrew. The stuff up for sale in the markets was incredible - apart from the military stuff (Kalashnikov rifles according to my uncle for under £20) I spent much time hoovering up old coins from dealers shops…It's probably happened, but we never hear of it.
I recall some old bloke on Antiques Roadshow with a few very valuable tiny gauge model locos, that he'd "picked up in Germany right after the war".
Must've been a bargain-hunter's paradise.
Excellent - where were they from ?5 ex-rental warehouse coats
All in excellent condition
£20 including ups delivery
To replace the ones I have recently set on fire or ripped to shreds.

I was in recently-unified Berlin as Russian forces began to withdraw from East Germany. In Alexanderplatz, the heart of the former East Berlin, I was offered a Makarov 9mm pistol and 1,000 rounds of ammunition for 100 D-mark - about £30.I was in Poland the weeks after the Russians withdrew. If it's anything like my last fortnights 'fun', I feel very sorry for you.
That's the one, day 3 or 4 diarrhoea kicked in, better now, but still totally lost my appetite.Banging headache, nasal passages a bit blocked, hot sweats followed by shivers, really achy joints especially knees and hips, very lethargic.
Yep the diarrhoea kicked in, all food now tastes horrible. That's the one, day 3 or 4 diarrhoea kicked in, better now, but still totally lost my appetite.
You'll start to start feeling better in about a week, it's no fun, no fun at all.Yep the diarrhoea kicked in, all food now tastes horrible.
