I think they're capstones off a wall that's now rubble.

Any idea what I could do with them (Other than mini pool table)?

Put em on the floor and practice yer tap dancing .

Trim down, line the edge with nice bit of beech and you have a decent chopping board.

Or trim down and you can have some trendy dinner plates.

Or cut 64 squares and a chess board.

The list is limited by your imagination.

Ive cut slate and a granite work to with a stone disc cutter in a grinder, then just polish up the cut edge.

Trim it with a decent small grinder diamond blade for tile and stone, it'll fly through that soft slate

A good fine thin stone cutting disc. letting the weight of the machine dictate the speed of the cut.
When cutting a good stream of water will keep the dust down.

Some slate can be turned, but each bit is different.
Even from the same source. try a bit and experiment.

Now that is a good idea.

10mm/3/8th" car belt will fit. Your local car parts supplier will be able to get you one.

The 10mm/3/8" is the average width. The length can be easily measured. here they are about £5

Yes fair point. But I came home with:
A cement mixer, red in colour.
A pillar drill,
A free pipe vice,
And an Evolution rage 3 chop saw thing with a 110volt transformer. Including a tungsten insert blade to cut up wood with nails in. VERY important.

I left the table saw and the metal angle grinder chopsaw. As I'd only gone out to buy a cement mixer, honest love, how was I to know he had a whole shedfull of stuff for sale?

Few car boots raided over the weekend. A gorilla tub full of imperial spanners and sockets screwdrivers ratchets and the like. These few items caught my eye as I emptied them out.
Nice little pocket knife. Metric and imperial markings.

A spanner with bottle opener and corkscrew??? Not sure why but.

Open to suggestions. Any ideas.

Think that last one is used by sparkies to lock out switch gear. Each sparky can hook his own padlock through one of the holes in the shank, preventing the power from being turned on until everyone is clear.

Wouldn't have been my choice for paint. Goes all the way round the house like it. They even painted the cracks on the drive with flower stems and leaf's to hide them.
Colour schemes inside when we moved in were interesting too. :/

Got a couple of 5m long Dinse leads, 25mm and 35mm cable. It worked out about half the price of making some, so I'm happy enough with them.
