BTW there is only one dog I know which is more mental than a Springer, it is a Sprollie, mentalness of a Springer and stamina of a Collie.

To me it is worth the enjoyment of a supper fine stone, the history of the thing and the fun of restoring it.

Springer spaniel,brilliant working dog but shop dog? hmm you might find it rather boisterous for that,dont get me wrong they are loverly and great size wise, and I certainly hope you enjoy it, word to the wise to keep the other half happy dont let anyone let the dog get into the habit of jumping up to greet, as they get really muddy when out for walks .Enjoy the waggy tail as they really are great .

Left hand bucket is bicycle spanners, right hand side is odd ones.

My fabby is looking for loads of old clunky spanners, he has been making horse heads from them. If you would like to sell them he would be a buyer.

Oh yes, very useful things indeed.
I had a packet of those years ago and jealously guarded them against the types of sods who will 'borrow' your cable ties and never return them. I eventually used them up and have been meaning to replace them ever since.

One thing they are very useful for is tying up power tool cables before storing them in their boxes.

I think they're capstones off a wall that's now rubble.

Well yesterday we aquired these, no welding involved.....meet sausage and bacon. Released them into their spot, and the pesky blighters legged it. 2 hours and much excercise later they are now in a much smaller more secure pen.
