Nice, what sorta cost did that come in at?
Good price ^^^ Kayos, I paid £150 for the same camera / lens/ flash kit last autumn, I have been surprised by how good it is despite how badly it was slagged off when new though having said that I have to agree, no way was it ever worth the £500 + Canon listed it at.Bit of a bargain actually
£125 delivered including box and instructions, 18-55 lens, flash etc. I've spent a further £45 ish on lens adapters and a hand grip, I probably won't use the kit lens once my FD adapter lands. I've also installed Magic Lantern to help focus manual lenses

PS. Mine is a black body, 25 quid for not having to walk around with a white camera, probably worth it
Edit: What hand grip did you get for it?

That spanner on the extreme left front of the table looks to have been 'modded' by someone for a specific job.

French, innit.
It will expire in a cloud of oily fumes and leave you at the side of the road.
And cut yer toenails.
Switching a starting cap in and out, possibly? Is that mains lead connected to a plug or was it? Do you know if it was actually running?
